About Execufix

What is Execufix?

Execufix is a visual planning app for organizing homework, tasks, events, routines, notes, reminders, and focus time in one place. It helps users see what needs to happen, decide what fits, work one step at a time, and adjust the plan when life changes.

Who is Execufix for?

Execufix is for students, clients, families, support people, and anyone who wants a more visible way to manage schoolwork, appointments, chores, routines, and daily responsibilities.

Can I use Execufix without a coach?

Yes. Execufix can be used independently. Coach support is optional. When coach support is enabled, an authorized coach can work with the client in the planning workspace to help build and adjust plans, organize work, break tasks into steps, balance workload, and practice planning habits over time.

What does plan, do, reflect mean?

Plan means capturing work, breaking it into steps, and placing it where it realistically fits. Do means using the daily view, steps, and Focus Timer to work one thing at a time. Reflect means reviewing what was finished, what moved, and what needs attention next.

Planning Your Day

How do I create a task?

Use the add button on the board to create a task. Tasks can include a title, notes, steps, estimated time, reminders, category or class, energy level, and other planning details depending on what you need.

What is the difference between a task, event, block, routine, and note?

A task is flexible work that needs to get done. A fixed event is tied to a specific date and time, like a class or appointment. A block protects flexible time without becoming a fixed event. A routine is a repeatable checklist. A note is lightweight context, encouragement, or a reminder.

Where do unscheduled tasks go?

Unscheduled tasks can stay in the Parking Lot until you are ready to plan them. This gives you a place to capture work without forcing everything onto today's schedule right away.

What should I do if my day changes?

Move tasks, reschedule items, set flexible work aside, or review unfinished work later. Execufix is designed for plans that change, not perfect plans that never need adjusting.

Homework and Schoolwork

How does Execufix help with homework planning?

Execufix helps students or clients see assignments, due dates, class context, estimated time, and steps in one planning flow. Larger assignments can be broken into smaller actions and placed across the week.

Can tasks be broken into steps?

Yes. Tasks can include steps or checklist items. This turns a vague task like write essay into visible actions such as choose topic, outline, draft, edit, and submit.

Can fixed events have checklists?

Yes. Fixed events can include checklist items for materials, preparation, follow-up steps, or things to remember before or during the event.

Focus, Routines, and Follow-Through

How does the Focus Timer work?

The Focus Timer lets you start a timed work session for a task. It can help users practice starting, staying with one task, taking planned breaks, and noticing how long work actually takes.

What happens to unfinished tasks?

Unfinished work stays visible so it can be finished, moved, set aside, or replanned.

How do reminders, timers, and alarms work?

Where available, reminders and timers help bring attention back to something planned. Notification behavior may depend on app or device settings and whether the item is still active.

How do routines help?

Reusable routines and checklists keep repeated steps visible so users do not have to rebuild the same sequence from memory every time.

Coaches and Clients

What is a coach?

A coach is an authorized support person who can work with a client in the planning workspace to help build and adjust plans, organize work, break tasks into steps, balance workload, and practice planning routines. A coach may be a professional, family member, educator, or other trusted support person.

What is a client?

A client is the person using Execufix for planning and follow-through. A client may plan independently or with support from a coach.

What can a coach see and do?

When coach access is enabled, an authorized coach can work within the client's planning workspace to help with planning and organization. This can include viewing and working with tasks, assignments, steps, categories, scheduled work, Time Blocks, routines, and other shared planning information. Coach access does not give the coach access to the client's private account settings, connected-account credentials, or other information specifically designated as private. Available actions may also be limited where needed to protect imported data, recurring items, account ownership, or other client-controlled information.

Account, Privacy, and Support

Is my planning data private?

Your planning data belongs to your Execufix account. If you enable coach or shared access, an authorized support person may be able to see and work with information in your shared planning workspace. Private account settings, connected-account credentials, and information specifically designated as private are not part of normal coach access.

How do I change my account settings?

Go to Account Settings to review available account options, connected support, and account actions.

How much does Execufix cost?

Execufix offers Individual access for $8 per month or $80 per year, Individual + Coach or Parent access for $14 per month or $140 per year, and Coach Pro for $49 per month or $490 per year. Additional accounts and Coach Pro add-ons are available at the prices shown on the pricing page. Self-serve paid plans include a 14-day free trial. Is mobile app access included?

Yes. Your Execufix subscription includes access across supported Execufix platforms. Mobile app availability may vary while iOS and Android releases are being rolled out.

My board looks out of date. What should I do?

Refresh the page first. If the board still looks stale, sign out and sign back in. Contact support if the same information still looks out of date after you sign back in.

My tasks disappeared. Where should I look?

Check whether the task was completed, deleted, moved to another day, left unscheduled, or hidden by a filter. Also check completed items and trash before assuming something is gone permanently.

How do I contact support?

Use the Contact Support option in the app or email support@execufix.com. Include what you were trying to do, what happened, and what device or browser you were using.
